S is the best. A dash means that source doesn't rank the hero. The consensus is the average across sources that do.

A hero's value changes completely between modes, so here are the mode-specific rankings on their own. These come from Lordrush Mastery's mode tier lists.

Why the tier lists disagree
Most disagreement comes from ranking for different modes. A hero whose skill is excellent when leading a rally can be average in Arena, and a hero that is a top pick for joining a Bear Hunt rally may never be used anywhere else. Some lists were also written before the second generation of heroes was released, so they rank the early roster only. When a hero shows "sources disagree", open the hero page to see what each source was ranking for.

How to use this list
- Early on, build around the heroes you actually have rather than chasing S-tier pulls; levels and gear matter more than tier in the first weeks.
- Pick a main troop type and favour heroes of that type, so your formation bonuses line up.
